Tonight Dan, Chris, Matt, AJOB, and Tom G bring you our top 11 of 2014 and also crown our Geek Allstars GAME OF THE YEAR!!
We also interview the winner of our game of the year at the end of the show, please stay tuned for it.
I had a little snafu when uploading the 1st time. I had uploaded the version without the interview first. So if your episode is NOT 3:16 (I think the 1st version is 3:03) please try and re-dl the episode
Hope you enjoy and thanks for listening!
we will post the lists sometime in the future (week or so), I don’t want to spoil it just yet!
Grats to our winner!

“Richard Launius” check
“Hipsters” check
“Yspahan” check
:-)
What’s funny Charles, is sometimes we go out of our way to say things, liek Launius, others we just don’t realize we get them into each show, like hipster and elegant.
Yspahan was a special easter egg hehe.
Thanks for Listening!
Your comments on Nations suprise me!
I’ve introduced Nations to about 10 people who’ve never played board games before and every single one of them was hooked.
We’ve even gone so far as to add a sixth player to the game by copying the player boards and having the sixth randomly drawn from the copies.
The only reason we don’t play Nations more often is because we’ve simply played it so much. Our newest love though is Brew Crafters, we just wish it had more players so we could play it more often.
I didn’t think we disliked it at all. I think we all liked it but it was just a crowded year. We also played it wrong, but I don’t think any of us down graded it b/c of that at all.
All in all I liked nations quite a bit. I really like tableau building and the randomness of the cards etc. I am really looking forward to the dice version getting wider release.
Thanks for listening!
